VACANCIES
Applications are invited from suitably qualified citizens of Sri Lanka to serve the Ministry of Health and Indigenous Medical Services

 

3. Student Nursing Practice:
3.1 Recruitment for Student Nursing Practices is done by the applicants who meet the eligibility requirements in terms of the Sri Lanka Nursing Service published in the Gazette Extraordinary No. 1837/8 dated 19/11/2013 and from time to time. (Recruitment of male applicants is done based on the requirements of the institutions under the Ministry subject to the provisions of the Nursing Service Minute)
3.2 The total number of students to be recruited for student nursing training in the island will be determined based on the population of each district and the number of persons to be recruited from each district in proportion to the population.
3.3 After that the total number of applicants should be recruited from each district and the total number of applicants who have applied for nursing service in each year, having completed the minimum educational qualifications required
The number of persons to be recruited from the respective district in each year will be decided in proportion to the number.
3.4 After that, the number of recruitments in each year shall be divided according to the total number of applicants who have completed the minimum educational qualifications by applying to the Nursing Service in the subject of Biology and Physics stream in that year and the respective district in each year
The number of students to be recruited under the subject stream is decided.
3.5 Accordingly, the number of candidates should be recruited under each subject stream for each year.
Of these, one is recruited for training.

 

4. General points:
4.1 Should be a Sri Lankan Citizen
4.2 Every candidate shall be physically fit to serve in any part of Sri Lanka.
4.3 Must be physically fit to perform the duties of the post.
4.4 Candidates should be of excellent character.
4.5 Must be in good physical and mental health.
4.6 If you receive a permanent appointment in the Central Public Service or Provincial Public Service after training, you must agree to serve at least 10 years.
4.7 The applicant should reside for a period of three consecutive years as on 31.03.2020, the closing date of applications. Grama Niladari signed by Divisional Secretary to prove it
Certificate of the officer should be submitted.

5. Other matters:
5.1 This course is a full time course. Therefore, students who follow full-time courses in a university, the Ministry of Health and Indigenous Medicine, or any other government institution, should not apply for this program on weekdays and Saturdays.
Any person applying for it and subsequently disclosing it will be removed from the course / position and the Government will recover all expenses incurred by him / her.
If you wish to apply for a full time course in a university, the following should be done. (5.2)
5.2 If you are enrolled in any university or any other government institution for a full time course, the date of registration for this course
You must cancel that registration. Even if you are registered with a university and do not attend lectures or are not attending lectures, you will need to cancel your registration because you are considered a university student. Prove it when necessary
You must have sufficient written proof to do so.
5.3 If you have completed a degree in a university, the effective date of that degree must be one day prior to the date of enrollment in the course.
5.4 If you have not registered in any of the Universities or Courses under the Ministry of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine as at 31.03.2020, in any case, if he / she is registered as of the date of registration for the above Training Course
Registration for the training course must be canceled prior to its registration.
5.5 Applicants who are registered for full-time training under the Ministry of Health and Indigenous Medicine will be eligible for this training if they are selected for the training and pay the agreed amount and all the allowances received at the time of the training.
You will be registered for the above training only if withdrawn.
5.6 Notwithstanding any of the provisions of this Gazette notification that you will be enrolled in the course you are applying for, despite completing all of the above.
You need to keep in mind that you don’t. If you have not completed the above Z qualification or any of the other conditions listed below, you will not be eligible for this course.
You should know that.
5.7 Education Eligibility and all other qualifications should be completed in all respects by 31.03.2020 by the closing date of applications.
