The Election Commission Chairman Mahinda Deshapriya has written to the District Secretaries including the Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration and Home Affairs to suspend the recruitment of unemployed graduates to public service and the training provided to them as trainees for one week after the election.
Mr. Deshapriya points out that appointment letters to recruit graduates as trainees have been handed over to the Department of Postal Services on the 27th of February 2020.
