Applications of private applicants, for the above examination will be received from 13.02.2019 to 01.03.2019. Each private applicant is advised to read and understand this notice fully in a careful manner and then should fill the application. Make sure to select exactly the correct Numbers when entering the Town Number and the Subject Numbers. Applicants are allowed to apply a maximum Of three main subjects.
The applications of private applicants should be prepared in compliance with the specimen application form given herein in order to apply for the examination.
Only those who have obtained the school-leaving certificate can apply as private applicants. It is completely prohibited for any one to sit this examination as a private candidate, while still being in school. If such a sitting is discovered, the examination results will be invalidated and they will be debarred from sitting for any examination in future.
It is compulsory to provide the National Identity Card or valid passport or valid driving licence by applicants at the examination centre in order to prove their identity. They should prove their identity for each and every question paper they appear at the examination.
If an applicant who does not possess a National Identity Card, he/she should get it prepared by forwarding an application through Grama Nitadhari to the Commissioner General of Registration of Persons.
All applicants should pay the due examination fees except the applicants who appear for the examination for the first time and for the second time through State Schools, Fee Levying/Non-Fee Levying Government Approved Private Schools and Approved Pirivenas. Thus, applications for which the stipulated fees have not been paid will be rejected
If there are applicants with special needs who apply for this examination, forward an application, prepared as per the instructions, published in the notice under the heading Providing relief to applicants with special needs” in this newspaper. Note : No examination fee paid will be refunded in full or half. nor will it be transferred to any other examination.
