Ira National Aquatic Resources Research & Development Agency (NARA) comes under the [MI II of the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development as the main National Institution charged with the responsibilities of carrying out and coordinating research, development, management and conservation activities on the subject of aquaculture. Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the following vacancies existing in the agency.

All the Applicants:

i. Should be citizens of Sri Lanka.

 

ii. Should have sound physical and mental health to cover up the duties assigned to them and willing to serve in any part of the island.

 

iii. Should possess excellent moral character.

 

iv. This post (position) is subjected to common rules and regulations which are applicable to NARA employees.

 

v. NARA reserves the right to short•list the applicants.

 

vi. Those who are selected to the above posts will be entitled to EPF (Employees’ Provident Fund) and ETF ( Employees’ Trust Fund)

 

Employee should contribute 10% per centum of salary and agency will contribute 15% per centum of the salary (out of their own resources) to EPF.

 

Agency will also contribute 3% per centum of the salary out of their resources to Mt
Applications together with copies of the certificates should be sent to the following address to be received on or before 05/04/2018 by registered post, and top left hand corner of the envelope enclosing applications, should be clearly marked with the relevant name of the post applied for.

 

Those officers who are already employed in the Public Sector / Statutory Boards/ State Corporations, should forward their applications through the respective Heads of Departments/ Institutions.
